Build vertically collapsing accordions in combination with our Collapse JavaScript plugin.
How it works
The accordion uses collapse internally to make it collapsible. To render an accordion that’s expanded, add the .open
class on the .accordion
.
prefers-reduced-motion
media query. See the reduced motion section of our accessibility documentation.

Custom icon
To set custom icons for the Accordion, use an element with the class .accordion-button-icon
inside the button. You can add two icons inside: the first one visible when the Accordion is collapsed, and the second one when expanded. If you add only one icon, it will be used for both states with the transformation transform: var(--bs-accordion-btn-icon-transform)
applied to it.
